Dr. Keith E. Taylor
Welcome to the optometric practice of Dr. Keith E. Taylor, a board-certified optometrist with a full spectrum primary care practice, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. He is an expert in diabetic eye care and has particular interest in contact lenses and the various approaches to treating refractive errors of the eye to enhance and correct vision.
Third Generation Optometrist in Marblehead
Dr. Taylor has been in private practice in Marblehead for more than 35 years, having joined the optometric office of his father, Dr. George E. Taylor, Jr., O.D., in 1981. Dr. Keith Taylor is the third generation of his family to practice optometry on the North Shore of Boston.
Education and Associations
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bates College, Dr. Taylor continued his education at the New England College of Optometry, achieving the designation of Doctor of Optometry that included completion of a pediatric rotation. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association, and the AOA Contact Lens Section and is committed to continual learning in his profession. He keeps up-to-date on the latest innovations in optometry by regularly attending optometric conferences and seminars.
Dedicated Volunteer
Dr. Taylor is active in the Marblehead community and donates much of his time as a member of the local Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce, and serves as Chairman of the Board at Marblehead Bank. Additionally, he is a member of the Bates College Fund Executive Committee, leading fundraising efforts for his alma mater.
